Tachyum will collaborate with Technical University of Košice (TUKE) on optimizations of supercomputer and power efficient data centers, scientific research, and innovations in the field of Big Data and artificial intelligence (AI). - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, October 12, 2021 – Tachyum™ today announced the appointment of Pini Herman as its new Senior Director of Solutions Engineering. Herman will be based out of the company’s Santa Clara, California offices as part of an expansion effort of adding talented design engineers to work on state-of-the-art AI processors. Herman has more than 20 years of hands-on technical and managerial experience, having successfully identified new product development opportunities and oversaw full-cycle projects that have driven millions of dollars in revenue.

They are responsible for developing international business strategies and helping the company meet its aggressive production timeline goals for the release and volume production of its Prodigy Universal Processor Chip. Cisar has more than 20 years of managerial experience, leading EMEA departments, projects and businesses with financial responsibility in global corporations.

The interactive resource platform will allow wider access to the world’s first universal processor beyond current partners who have had access to the Prodigy emulation system. - Bratislava, Slovakia/ Las Vegas, Nevada, September 14, 2021 – Tachyum™ today announced the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with two faculties at the Slovak University of Technology (STU), which will advance fields of study in supercomputing and AI-based scientific research. These will help transform Slovakia from a manufacturing-based economy to an AI superpower. Under the agreements, students and professors at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technology (FIIT) and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEI) will have access to Tachyum’s Prodigy emulation system for selected projects and the ability to work with the latest world-class HPC technology as part of open-source public projects and scientific research activities in the field of AI.

- LAS VEGAS, Nevada, June 29, 2021 –Tachyum™ Inc. today announced that it has been named among the 10 Hottest Semiconductor Startups Of 2021 by CRN® magazine, a brand of The Channel Company. “These chip startups are working on everything from general-purpose processors that can outperform Intel’s and AMD’s latest to accelerators that can speed up AI and deep learning workloads,” wrote CRN senior associate editor Dylan Martin. “Tachyum is taking on Intel, AMD, Nvidia and other silicon compute vendors with what it calls the ‘world’s first universal processor,’ which it says can replace the functions of CPUs, GPUs and other kinds of compute processors while providing higher performance and power efficiency.

- LAS VEGAS, Nevada, June 8, 2021 –Tachyum™ Inc. today announced that it has taken delivery of an IO motherboard for its Prodigy Universal Processor hardware emulator from manufacturing. This provides the company with a complete system prototype integrating CPU, memory, PCI Express, networking and BMC management subsystems when connected to the previously announced field-programmable gate array (FPGA) emulation system board. The Tachyum Prodigy FPGA DDR-IO Board connects to the Prodigy FPGA CPU Board to provide memory and IO connectivity for the FPGA-based CPU tiles.
